On New Year's Eve in Uppsala, our restaurant at Gamla torget transforms into a sparkling stage for celebration, community, and culinary enjoyment.

Villa Romanas New Year's Eve dinner for 795 kronor is a carefully composed four-course menu that allows you to experience New Year's Eve at a restaurant in Uppsala with all your senses awake. The evening begins with RAVIOLI ALL'ASTICE – handmade ravioli filled with lobster and crayfish, drenched in champagne-infused butter sauce and topped with lumpfish roe, lobster oil, and winter purslane. It's a starter that immediately sets the tone: sophisticated, delicious, and unforgettable.

For the main course, three different paths to paradise are offered. FILETTO DI MANZO ALLA ROSSINI is for those who want to celebrate New Year's in Uppsala with classic luxury – grilled beef tenderloin from grass-fed cattle with black truffle, Madeira sauce, foie gras, butter-fried winter carrots, broccolini, and crispy potato cake. For those who prefer the treasures of the sea, there is LOMBO DI MERLUZZO – lightly cured, poached cod loin with beurre rouge, Jerusalem artichoke purée, and the same thoughtfully chosen sides. Vegetarians can enjoy RISOTTO PIEMONTESE, where Carnaroli rice meets black truffle cream, mushroom broth, wild mushrooms, and 36-month aged parmesan.
